Key Role and Responsibilities

As the National Immunisation Manager, your primary accountability lies in collaborating with the vaccines commercial and policy teams to align vaccine implementation strategies with the National Immunisation Strategy. This involves managing relationships with state jurisdictions and contributing to Commonwealth discussions in partnership with the Business Unit Director. Moreover, you will lead the preparation and execution of tender submissions, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and government health policies.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring vaccines are seamlessly integrated into public health programs. This includes overseeing tenders for the National Immunisation Program (NIP) and other key portfolios, ensuring alignment with company goals and stakeholder needs.

Core Duties

The role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

1. Vaccine Stock Management:
   • Track and report monthly vaccine stock movements.
   • Ensure compliance with National Immunisation Program vaccine agreements.
2. Collaboration with Stakeholders:
   • Partner with Federal, State and Territory jurisdictions to ensure efficient vaccine availability.
   • Engage with relevant tenders and contracts to align with public health objectives.
3. Tender Submissions:
   • Contribute to strategies for responding to national tenders for vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
   • Ensure submissions align with public health policies and meet stakeholder expectations.
4. Policy and Regulatory Impact Analysis:
   • Assess policy proposals and their implications for the vaccine environment.
   • Provide strategic recommendations based on these assessments.
5. Strategic Business Alignment:
   • Collaborate with commercial, government affairs and medical teams to define the NIP’s strategic focus.

6. Stakeholder Relationship Management:

   • Act as a representative of the company’s vaccine objectives.
7. Forecasting and Program Development:

8. Alliance and Partnership Management:
   • Work closely with Seqirus to ensure uninterrupted vaccine supply to the NIP.
   • Develop and execute effective policy strategies to maximize the vaccine portfolio.
9. Demand Forecasting:
   • Manage supply and demand forecasting for all NIP vaccines.
   • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure supply commitments align with forecasts.

Key Qualifications and Skills
