Key Responsibilities

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in working with the Portwest Sales team and assisting their objective to expand in the European or Middle Eastern market. Your day-to-day Dealing with existing clients and potential clients, you will have the responsibility of ensuring that they get the support required to assist in marketing our products. Some of the duties and responsibilities that you will have to perform are:

  • Sales Growth and Client Management: Actively look out for new business while managing existing customers. You will be responsible for increasing the customers and the sales made in the region.
  • Product Knowledge: Get accosted with all the products of the safety wear, workwear, and PPE that we offer, and leverage that knowledge to assist clients with their requirements.
  • Consultative Selling: Be involved in the activities of understanding the specific requirements of clients to tackle their objectives and provide them the necessary products that meet their needs while ensuring maximum safety and quality.
  • Order Processing: Receive purchase requests, make sales by processing their orders, and follow up with customers to ensure timely delivery of the products ordered.
  • Collaboration with Other Teams: Get in touch with marketing, logistics, and customer care departments so that work processes are well coordinated and there is efficiency in service delivery.
  • Reporting: Record each sale made, contact with clients and walking through competition. Report such changes to top management on a periodic basis in order for the business to ensure it is performing in accordance with the sales forecast.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Go the extra mile to help the customer and ensure that the customer’s problem is responded and resolved as quickly as possible.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an ambitious self-starter who is dedicated to customer service and strives to obtain results, preferring to work within a remote environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Sales experience: Successful candidates would have held sales positions in the B2B sector and having such an experience is preferred.
  • Product Knowledge: Knowledge of workwear such as safetywear and PPE products will be an advantage, but it is not a must; however, must be willing to learn about the industry and the range of products.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must have the ability to articulate well and build good relationships with clients and other team members.
  • Self-Starter: You are expected to be self-motivated, set your work routine and do not require any supervision since this is a remote job.
  • Tech-Savvy: You ought to be comfortable using software tools and sales platforms as a part of your daily operations because you want to be effective at managing your tasks.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch: Proficiency in English as well as Dutch is a prerequisite, as this is going to be critical for interacting with clients and other members across the various Benelux countries.
